taking our culture forward

The story of Mike Kewley's life in Manx golf, stretching back to the mid-1960s, when he first picked up a club as a 15-year-old (initially only in order to avoid having to play cricket at school!)

From an era when sheep grazed on Rowany during winter and the original Howstrake course was still in use, through winning the Isle of Man Golf Championship in 1974 (caddied Donald Gelling, later to be Chief Minister of the Isle of Man), Mike runs through his life in golf in the Isle of Man, including his favourite courses, some of the golfing dynasties he has known and the joys of a hole in one!
