taking our culture forward

This is the story of Gary Proctor, for many years the island's top table tennis player. He tells us about his humble beginnings playing for Onchan Youth Club and how through years of determination and self-discipline he went on to represent the island and play in many international competitions around the globe, including the world championships. He describes the invaluable people and friends he met along the way and how the sport in many ways went on to shape the rest of his life.
