Mrs Anne Craine and members of the Foundation present an etching to Mr Peter Kelly
At the November meeting of the Manx Heritage Foundation long-serving member and cultural advisor, Mr Peter Kelly, MBE CP, was presented with a specially commissioned etching to mark his retirement. Mr Kelly first started working with the Foundation 26 years ago in 1985, taking up the post as Secretary and organising the hugely successful Heritage Year in 1986. Since then he has been the Honorary Heritage Advisor to the Foundation and the Chairman, Mrs Anne Craine, who is also retiring from her post this month, thanked Mr Kelly for his long service and his invaluable contribution to the work of the Foundation. The etching, specially commissioned from local artist Peter Hearsey, is of the Baillie Scott Village Hall in Onchan.
