Phil Gawne, MHK, Chairman of Culture Vannin, commented that ‘these videos will be a fantastic resource for Secondary School teachers and should make the teaching of this period of our Manx history much more exciting and relevant. The videos reveal a wealth of characters and stories of the Island from the war and much of it is sure to be of interest to the general public as well as students. These videos complement the Manx History Website http://manxhistory.com/ which Culture Vannin has developed and which reflect our vision of broadening the appeal of Manx culture and identity.’
